India government shutdown internet in some parts of the country. 

Internet shutdown in Jammu and Kashmir 

December 20, 2019 marked the 138th day of the continuing Internet shutdown in Jammu and Kashmir, which began on August 5,the day the erstwhile state was stripped of its special status under Article 370 of the Constitution. This is the longest ever continuous Internet shutdown in the country.

After nine days, internet reopened in Assam (a state of India). After the Rajya Sabha passed the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill (CAB) last week, the state erupted in uncontrolled protests, in which agitators engaged in pitch battle in almost every major city or town, forcing the administration to impose curfew. Government shutdown internet on 11th december.

Still now government shutdown internet in several parts of India like Delhi, Uttar pradesh, West bengal due to same reason as Assam.
